The cottage was beautifully decorated with a charming, traditional feel. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate and relax. As a senior, I greatly appreciated the thoughtful accessibility features throughout the hotel, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I would have appreciated a designated staff member available on-site to assist with any inquiries or concerns that may arise, especially for senior guests.

We stayed at Old Tan Rhiw for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway. The cottage was warm, clean, and well-equipped for our party of 6 plus a dog. It easily accommodated us all, with enough space for 8 people. We loved the close proximity to local pubs for evening meals and the convenience of a nearby shop for essentials. The riverside walks right from the front door were a highlight, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. Thank you for a great stay!
100% Recommend this hotel.

I always stay at my favorite place, the staff is helpful, they even provided adaptors once. This place suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, paid parking, pets allowed, and a no smoking policy. Can't wait to return for New Year.

Love the rustic feel, but the damp creeping in gives it that extra cozy touch. And who needs a welcome pack or working internet when you have beautiful views and outdated decor?
The council should definitely remove all those "modern paraphernalia" like telegraph poles and signposts. Such an eyesore!

Old Tan Rhiw was a charming cottage with a real cottage feel. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and everything was modern and clean. We especially enjoyed the cozy wood burner and the lovely view. The location was great and ideal for families. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
The only downside was the lack of a welcome pack and the additional costs for bedding and pets, which added up to quite a bit. this did not detract from our overall enjoyment.
